The NDM Doctoral Consortium is intended to provide an opportunity for PhD students to discuss and explore their research with experts in the field of Naturalistic Decision Making. This is an excellent opportunity to receive guidance on dissertation proposals as well as career advice from leaders in NDM related areas of research. Participants will be expected to present their research ideas in 10–15 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes for discussions and suggestions from experts. The goals of the Doctoral Consortium event are to:
- Provide fruitful feedback and advice to the selected PhD students on their research ideas.
- Provide the opportunity to meet experts from different backgrounds working on topics related to Naturalistic Decision Making.
- Interact with other PhD students and stimulate an exchange of ideas and suggestions among participants.
The Doctoral Consortium will be held as a workshop on Monday June 17, 2019, the day before the Pre-Conference Workshops (Tuesday June 18). The participants of the doctoral consortium are also strongly encouraged to register for and attend the main conference.
