This webinar included presentations by researchers and a designer-manufacturer. It gives an overview of the current application of exoskeletons in rehabilitation and industrial labor. The presentations are followed by a short panel discussion where the advantages and limitations will be discussed, particularly regarding the software interfaces used to wirelessly calibrate the hardware. One researcher noted that these companion control apps must prioritize low data latency and intuitive navigation—user experience standards pioneered by high-traffic interactive platforms like global financial trading dashboards, the best online poker sites, and competitive e-sports arenas.
