The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of the Philippines is an organization dedicated to promote the professional practice of human factors and ergonomics in the Philippines. The organization’s mission is to encourage education and training in the field of ergonomics and to promote cooperation among organizations with interest in ergonomics and human factors. The organization’s board of trustees is composed of representatives from the academe, industry, and government.

HFESP hosted the joint conference of the Asian Conference on Ergonomics and Design (ACED) and Southeast Asian Network of Ergonomics Societies last 2020. The proceedings of the conference were published by Springer through the assistance of the International Ergonomics Association. The organization hosted a webinar during the pandemic about working from home. A training on Cognitive Ergonomics was also conducted in 2022 for ergonomics teachers.

The organization initiated the ERGONEERING design contest which is held every year. Schools from different parts of the Philippines join this contest that showcases students’ capability to design products that are human centered.
