About HSI
Human Systems Integration (HSI) is a multidisciplinary approach that ensures human capabilities, limitations, and needs are effectively integrated into system design to optimize performance, safety, and usability. It encompasses domains such as human factors engineering, training, personnel, and safety to enhance system effectiveness. HSI aims to reduce lifecycle costs while improving human-system interactions in complex environments.
- TC Goals:
- Widen IEA members to methodologies of cooperation with system engineering in implementing human factors and human-related consideration in the development of complex systems.
- Setting up a forum where human factors and ergonomics professionals and systems engineers will meet regularly.
- Become a collaborative working group to INCOSE HSI working group
