5th HFEM Biennial Conference on Human Factors and Ergonomics

The journey toward Industry 4.0 and the increasing implementation of intelligent digital systems are evoking changes in human work and work organization, thereby, creating new challenges and opportunities for human factors and ergonomics (HFE) and its affiliated disciplines. To take advantage of these opportunities and deal with the challenges, we must gain a holistic understanding of the emerging socio-technical interactions and apply new human-centric approaches and methods when introducing new digital technologies and designing Industry 4.0-enabled work systems.

Against this backdrop, we are excited to announce the 5th Biennial HFEM Conference on Human Factors and Ergonomics to be organized by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, Malaysia. It will be held jointly with ErgoLympic 2023, a competition that uncovers affordable and effective solutions, driven by human factors, ergonomics and occupational safety and health best practices.

You are cordially invited to participate in this fifth edition of the conference, to be held on the majestical island of Langkawi in Kedah, Malaysia, 14-18 August 2023. Participation is face-to-face at the 5-star Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa.
