Informal Work Webinar Series
This webinar, organized by the IEA Informal Work TC, begins with an overview of the situation of informal work in Europe and then delves into the specific case example of sex work/prostitution in Germany. The example highlights the difficulties of legally defining what is work and getting agreement on regulations in morally contentious areas. It goes on to show the practical implications of implementing public policy decisions in this area. The discussion will then focus on issues of working conditions including labour exploitation and what professionals in the HFE field can do to support people working in sex work/prostitution.
Moderator: Dr. Maggie Graf, member, IEA Informal Work TC, and immediate past vice President/Secretary General of the IEA.
Presenters:
- Dr Maggie Graf, Eur.Erg.
