HFES 67th International Annual Meeting

Taking place October 23 – 27, 2023 in the Nation’s Capital, HFES’ annual event continues to be the meeting for our community, and where you can connect with more than 1,500 academics, researchers, students, practitioners, and professionals interested in the latest research and advancements impacting our field and the interactions between humans, systems, and their environment.

The annual meeting will feature more than 130 concurrent sessions, 600 technical presentations, hours of dedicated networking time, plus interactive poster presentations and demonstrations, Student Career and Professional Development Day, National Ergonomics Month Expo, User Experience Day, content related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and much more. Sessions are organized in tracks aligning with the Society’s 26 Technical Groups, providing a diverse landscape of information and content to explore and take part in.

In addition to the valuable content and networking opportunity the International Annual Meeting affords each year, the 2023 host city is accessible from three major airports, easy to navigate, and has endless options of historical sites, museums, restaurants, cafes, and more to fill your time between events and to extend your stay. All conference activities will be held at the Washington Hilton Hotel steps from DC’s Dupont Circle, Rock Creek Parkway, and Adams Morgan neighborhood.
