Presenters:

Beata Mrugalska

Beata Mrugalska is an Associate Professor and head of the Division of Applied Ergonomics, Institute of Safety and Quality Engineering, Faculty of Management Engineering, Poznan University of Technology in Poland. She holds an MSc in Management and Marketing from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Management at the Poznan University of Technology, and a PhD in Machine Construction and Operation from the Faculty of Computer Science and Management at the Poznań University of Technology. She was awarded DSc degree in Mechanical Engineering by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Poznan University of Technology, Poland (2019). Since 2018, he has been a board member of the Center for Registration of European Ergonomists (CREE). She is also a board member of the Polish Ergonomics Society, a member of the commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member of the Ergonomics Committee at the Polish Academy of Sciences, Branch Poznan. She has over 120 publications focused on human factors in modern organizational management concepts. She is an editor or co-editor of 15 books. She serves as a member of 8 editorial boards of international journals, and a Guest Editor of 5 special issues of journals.

 

Maria – Elena Boatca

Maria-Elena Boatca is secretary of the Safety and Health Technical Committee of the IEA and co-founder of the Society of Ergonomics and Workplace Management (ErgoWork) Romania. She is assistant professor and researcher at Politehnica University of Timisoara. Maria Boatca has a PhD degree in ergonomics and a Master’s degree in occupational health and safety. Maria’s research interests are focused on workplace wellbeing, occupational health and safety and ergonomics standardization.
